To my sweetheart...

I knew I was the luckiest girl in the world when you asked me to marry you.
I've never been able to stop staring at that handsome face since the moment we met.
I knew my life could never be better because you were mine...
 Forever.
And then you became a father and I saw you in a new light. You were always fun, funny, sweet, romantic and loving, but now I got to see a new side of you. I fell in love with you all over again.
You are the best husband, the best daddy, the best friend a girl could ever wish/hope/pray for.
 I love you.
Thank you for making my dreams come true and for a BLISSFUL three years of marriage.
Happy Anniversary!
Love... me

New Swimsuit!

Swim lessons start on Tuesday!!! Wahoo!!!

Yay for Spring!!!!

Our good friend Cindy invited us to the Arboretum for a fun morning of running around, getting a little dirty and having lots and lots of fun!
Aubrie loved all the flowers everywhere.
She kept saying "flowers" and running up and sniffing them. It was pretty cute!
I didn't even take pictures of some of the prettiest flowers... next time...
The Arboretum is incredibly beautiful this time of year!!
Laney and Aubs looking down at the Coi... or is it Coy fish?!!
Originally we were right down by the water with these guys, but Aubs was too tempted to hop in with the fishies, plus she wanted to go hug Laney and stand on the bridge... so we got to look down and wave to our friends from the bridge!
Playing in the really cold water! Aubs loved it!
This was our beautiful view from the front seat on the way home.
Our little tikes were tuckered out to say the least!
What lucky moms we are! :)

Bounce House

On Aaron's birthday, this past Saturday, some friends called to tell us that their apt. complex had a free bounce house out all day long!
As soon as we heard we just knew Aubs would love it, so Aaron got into some running clothes and took her over in the jogging stroller. I met up with them a few minutes later! Aubrie was the only kid there for a while and had such a blast bouncing all around.  She was squealing with laughter and kept saying "weeee!' and "bounce! bounce! bounce!"
A little girl that was probably 3 or 4 came a little while later and Aubrie loved following her around and was having so much fun with her.  She seriously bounced around in there for about an hour or so and was so exhausted by the end, but didn't want to leave. When she finally did come out she fell asleep in the stroller on the way home.

We obviously couldn't help ourselves and got in on the action.
She just made it look so fun... and it was! :)

Texas Rangers

Our sweet friends got tickets to see the Texas Rangers play and were so kind to invite us to tag along!! We had such a great time!!  Too bad the Rangers lost...
Cindy came prepared and brought Cracker Jacks and shelled peanuts for all of us!
We also got lucky because it was $1 hot dog night so we had hot dogs and nachos and topped it off with big ice cream sundaes! We ate a ton and had such a blast!
Our huge sundaes... and fun friends Cindy and her husband Eric.
We were able to sit so close which was SWEET! We were only ten rows back!!
This was the best date night we've had in a while! Thanks for the fun night guys!!

Easter treat from Auntie Frances

She was so excited... she kept squealing and saying "package.. package!!!"
opening and pulling out her cute surprise
reading her sweet letter from auntie frances
checking out the cute new apron with a "cow wet" (carrot) and "bunny wabbit"

she played around in it for a few hours!
the best part is she still has some growing to do to fit into it so we will be seeing this cute apron around for a while!
thank you for the fun surprise auntie Frances!!! We love you tons! xoxoxo

Oh and that cute little bunny shirt that she is wearing came in a sweet package with a book a few day's before from the Bell's.  She loves the bunny shirt and asks to wear it every time she can get her hands on it! She also says Gene about 3 times daily. We need to Skype again soon. Thanks for spoiling my little peanut. She loves everything! :)

Nail Polish

Please disregard the "tattered-ness" of my child in the following pictures.
She had eaten pancakes with syrup in the morning and had accidentally rubbed syrup all in her hair, which in time became matted and gross.  Also, she had literally just woken up from her nap and finished drinking her milk when we decided to polish her toesies!
She sat very still while I painted on a very thin coat and let me blow-dry on cool air for about 20 seconds before she stood up.  Luckily they had already dried!
She loved it and kept saying, "pawyish!" and would smile and jump around.
She took a bath a little while later and was holding her feet up under the water spout. I couldn't tell if she was trying to wash it off or what. She seemed to love it though. She was really excited to show Aaron when he got home too!
This morning she looked at them and said "what's that?" and I said "Pink nail polish" and she got a HUGE smile and said, "Pink... pawyish!" and smiled some more.
I LOVE my girly girl!

Dallas Museum of Art

On Tuesday morning we woke up and headed downtown to check out the Dallas Museum of Art. The 1st Tuesday of every month is free admission day, so we decided to make a morning of it.
A few girlfriends and I headed down and decided to take the trolley around uptown and over to the museum! The kids LOVED the trolley! Aubrie stood on the wooden bench and pretty much stared out the window the entire time!  I heard a few "weee's!" and whenever the trolley would stop she would say "again!" It was so fun.
Here we are outside of the museum waiting to get in. We got to the museum 18 minutes before it opened so most of my pictures are the kiddos playing around outside while we waited for the doors to open.
This is a mosaic of little tiles outside the museum. It's called Genesis. It was really neat.
Just playing around outside!
Aubs with her BFF Laney... and their sticks!
This was Aubrie's favorite part of the kid's room.
She could have played on it all day if we would have stayed. I looked it up online to see how much it would cost to buy one, and let's just say we won't be getting anything like it anytime soon! Ha! It was definitely fun while it lasted.
Sometime this month we are going to try to make it out to the Dallas Children's Museum. I know Aubrie will have the time of her life! It will be like her version of Disneyland until we are actually able to take her there one day! Haha!

Easter Package from Nana and Papa

Aubrie got so spoiled this year for Easter.

I was horrible and hardly checked the mail last week and when I finally did, I realized there was a little note that a surprise package had been waiting at the post office for Aubrie since a few days before!! Eeeek! Sorry for the delay Nana and Papa.

We picked up the package early in the morning and waited all day for daddy to get home from school to open it.  Aubrie was so patient and she would walk around it, try to pick up the box, and point to it and say "box, nana, papa!" It was so sweet!
She finally got to open it and was soooo happy!
She pulled out goody after goody!
A purse, a Cinderella bracelet, necklace and clip-on earrings...
...bows, books, stickers, a darling dress, finger puppets, more books, more bracelets...
She LOVED all the jewelry of course! She had to check herself out in the mirror.
We love our little girly girl!
And of course she LOVED the sunglasses!
She tried to fall asleep with them in her crib that night... we took them out eventually for safety reasons and she wasn't a happy camper... for a minute! Ha! Then she fell asleep!

The package was so sweet. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and love.  It was so fun opening goodies the day after Easter... Aubrie can't go anywhere without her jewelry now... its so fun!
Aubrie loved the package and she loves you Nana and Papa... trust me she keeps talking about you! Ha! Thanks again.
:)
