We miss you already!

Vegas Trip

Day 1 of our trip was fun-filled and busy of course! We hopped on the plane around 9 am and arrived in Vegas! Our first stop was Grammie's house! 

Later that night we went to Grandpa and Nana's house to visit the rest of the fam!

Here is Aubrie with cousin Braylee! She is so cute and cuddly.  I got her to fall asleep on me by just walking around with her (on day 7 of our trip!).

Day two was Grandpa's 29th birthday so we celebrated at Macaroni Grill that evening!

Being shy with her Nana! I was surprised that it took her a little bit to warm up.  

By the end of the trip she was her talkative little self though!

Aubs couldn't get enough of her Grammie's collection of Mr. Potato Head's! 

She played with them every chance she got.

We even made a little potato army.

At Trader Joes they gave her a balloon and she LOVED it!

Since we have been home whenever she sees a balloon she gets so excited!

On Day 3 of our trip Aubs had a 13 month doctor visit (since we were in Dallas when she was 12 months and our insurance was still in Vegas we made the appt. on her 13 month bday!), but to my dismay she was unable to get her shots due to a little cough! I think the Dr. was a little conservative... but thats okay! No ouchies for her while on vacay! We did get her stats though (which I will post soon)... and a little not-so-surprising info about our girl!

After our appointment, we took a little girls trip over to Town Square and did a little shopping and playing and eating (at BRIO- YUM!!!)...

By the end of the trip Aubs said "stick a fork in me!"

Aubs... as usual!

We LOVE the mall!

We decided to kill some time Thursday night before picking up Aaron from school, so we headed off to the beautiful NorthPark Mall! I love this mall... it has so many awesome stores (to window shop in of course!) from Anthropologie, to American Eagle, Betsey Johnson, Lego store, tons of baby stores, Nordstrom, etc! It also has tons of great restaurants like Maggianos, P.F Changs etc.  Oh and they have a huge movie theatre attached! In a nutshell, we LOVE it! So we window-shopped our little hearts out and then decided to finally spend some $ in the food court! But first... here is Aubs LOVING the fun water fountain that they have! It's like a mini Bellagio water show... in a fountain!

Aubs had her first Chik-fil-A chicken!! 

I can't even put into words how much she LOVED it!

Friday night was a fun little date night... with Aubs! She is such a good girl when we go out to restaurants that we really like to take her along for the fun! We ate yummy Maggianos! They are having a sweet deal on meals right now, so we basically came home with three meals (after eating tons of food at the restaurant!) to eat for the entire weekend!

Growing

Aubs has been a little jabberwocky lately!! She babbles and babbles all day long!

Here she was playing with her favorite stuffed polar bear and her little dolly.

She also still loves looking through her book that Aunt Candice, Aunt Jess and I made (mostly made by Aunt Candice)!

She still loves the buttons...

...and surprise surprise Candice... she loves the randomness of this page!! 

She absolutely loves looking at the page with her picture on it too (her hand is on it)!

My little Miss is growing up too quickly!

I just read on babycenter.com that they are considered toddlers when they reach age 1!

Weird huh?

P.S. Her hair is getting so long... she has wings!!
