Ahhhhh!
The time is going by way too fast! I just want my baby to stay little!
It's okay though, because we are having so much fun seeing this little sweetpea grow!
Our little Aubs has such the personality these days. She is a definite "daddy's girl"... she lights
up with the biggest smile every time she sees him! She loves to play with him and absolutely loves when he throws her up in the air or when she gets to ride around on his shoulders. Here's a list of "Aub's current loves" at seven months:
- bathtime (sitting up like a big girl)/splashing
- playing with her toys
- biting on everything
- Baby Einstein videos
- getting her neck lightly rubbed
- lotion leg massages
- eating (oatmeal, pureed veggies-sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, pureed fruits- apples, bananas, rice cereal, she has eaten one cheerio but we/daddy got scared about choking so we decided to wait a little longer!, and of course still milk)
- her high chair
- playing with her sippy cup ( i don't think she gets much out when she tries drinking out of it though)
- standing up (when we try just sitting her up she always wants to stand)
- rolling over (she is just barely starting to roll onto her tummy- with a little help of course!
- music (she lights up when she hears any type of music)
- she is into anything and everything. she grabs at everything she sees and always wants whatever mommy or daddy is holding
- still loves being naked
- still LOVES her binky
- going on walks (she falls asleep sometimes on our walks)
- car rides (almost always falls asleep)
- playing with her grammie, her grandma Swapp, her grandpa, and her aunties and uncles of course
- kicking her legs
- looking at other babies
- Old MacDonald and E-I-E-I-O
We just can't get enough of this little sweetheart. She is so fun and smiley and talkative. She says "da da da da" and "ada ada" and sometimes it sounds like "da dee." Aaron loves it... I can tell! She has such a sweet little voice too... and sometimes she sounds like she is growling when she is making noises... its so funny! Her eyes are still a bluish/grayish color but we think we see a little green popping in right around her pupils. She is too cute!
We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Aub's cousins Braylee (due in April) and Eventide (due in May)... Aubs can't wait to have little playmates to match outfits with. Also, we are starting to get ready for our big move. This should be fun... way too much stuff to pack (mostly Aubrie's stuff.. haha!).

, which I have been doing when she seems to be getting worse. The doctor who saw Aubrie wasn't a pediatrician (which is fine), but he didn't even check her throat, which is what concerns me. Can infants get strep? or anything like it? Cause what if that is what she has? My throat has been a little sore now for a couple of days and I wonder if I caught what she has. If so, it hurts and I am sure it hurts her more cause she is so little. She has pretty much been her normal self, not too lethargic or anything, but a little more fussy than usual. I just want my little Aubs to feel like herself again! Any suggestions??! Any remedies for infant head colds? HELP!
