Ashley's Bread Factory

Okay, so Saturday I got off work at Williams- Sonoma and of course I was inspired by some of the great recipes that I get to see everytime I work... so I took it upon myself to try my mother-in-laws wheat bread recipe that night. I had tons of time since Aaron was studying all night, so I also made my first lasagna. I think it turned out pretty darn good... epecially for a first timer! I am a little disappointed that I didn't take a pic... oh well maybe next time (but probably not!). So here are a couple pictures of proof that I really did make my own bread! Yay!! I should open a bread factory or something! Just Jokin! It was pretty fun and easy to make and now I feel inspired to make all different sorts of bread! Fun times at the Swapp residence. Here is another picture:
This was a pretty easy recipe and it turned out to be a hit (with Aaron at least). I don't think we'll ever need to buy another loaf. Just joking... again. All in all it was a decent night...
...HOWEVER...
Next time there is a UNLV vs. BYU football game I am pretty sure I will be there in red escorting my husband in his Cougar gear rather than making bread! It's probably better that I didn't have to witness the Rebels take that loss.

Joe Dirt

<--- I love him!

<--- Tow Mater from CARS

<--- HOT!
We went to a car show in Henderson probably two weekends ago.
The air smelled like beer.
People were eating big pieces of meat stuck to the bone and corn on the cob on a stick.
There was melting ice and cigarette butts all over the ground.
I am not sure what it was... but something about that night reminded me of Joe Dirt...
We had so much fun. Henderson is home for now. I think we fit in pretty well.
