We have a new desert tortoise named ROK. You can pronouce it just like rock or however you like. So... It is the funniest thing, everytime that I have told someone that we got a desert tortoise they say something like, "You know they are endangered, right?!!!" ...as if they are informing us of something we had no idea about!! To all of you who think this, don't worry... we will take good care of him. Anyways, he is the coolest, well at least he was the coolest for about the first twelve hours that we had him... then he decided to prepare for hibernation and now he is MIA all the time. So weaksauce. We are building him a burrow tonight so he can hibernate for the winter. WE LOVE HIM!! Oh well... now I have two things that I have to post pics of... Aaron with braces and ROK... our beloved tortoise!
