Never Posted

I am pretty sure that I never posted these.  

So for the record they were taken on 11/21/2008.  

"The girl" was exactly four months old... so we did some Christmas and some 4 month pics!

Ouchie!

I wonder how it feels for a baby when they are teething! 

Our poor little Aubrie has been for a while now (still no teeth!), and her pain usually comes and goes in spurts. We are so lucky because she really is our little angel and such a good baby, so I always feel bad when I can tell she is in pain and there isn't much we can do to help. 

Tonight was an OUCHIE night for Aubs!!   She started fussing BIG TIME, while gnawing on anything she could get her hands on (sorry no photo)

...So...

We gave her some tylenol... and she took the bottle from us! Don't worry, it was sealed and child-proof!

...And she gnawed...

...and gnawed!! Then spit-up a little (TMI?!), so we changed her bib!

Then we played a little game of Peek-a-Boo...

and she was all smiles!!

This is how we fell asleep last night.  

Aaron was doing a project on his computer next to us on the couch and we were OUT!! 

He snuck a picture and didn't tell me until I woke up 2 hours later!! Haha.

Aubrie's Stats!

Our little girlie had her shots today and she did SO well!

Here are her six month stats:

• 17 lbs even! (75th percentile for weight!)
  
• 25 inches (25th percentile for height!)
• her head is once again  NORMAL 50th percentile (i didn't get the measurement though)

Aubrie's doctor said she has been pretty consistent with her weight gain so we are not worried about her chubs- we embrace the CHUBS!! We love our girl and couldn't be happier that she is growing so healthily! She only cried for two seconds after the shots and then she was all about getting her sleep on! She did great today!  Thanks for coming with me for moral support MOM! Watching your sweet little ones gets shots is the worst so it was great to have you there!

6 months

Happy Half Birthday Little Miss Aubs!!

We just had to celebrate so Grammie took us out to a delicious lunch at...

...and then we were off to Target to pick out a little something for the babe!!

Here is what she picked out... 

We told her that it was for nine month old babies but that made her want it even more!!

Here she is rolling on her new bath rug that Grammie also got her! 

We got cute matching rubber thingy's for the bathtub too! 

Target has some cute stuff out for Valentine's Day!

Grammie even got us a piece of Cheesecake from the Factory so Aaron and I could celebrate our 6 month old tonight!!!

It was delicious! Aubrie ate squash for dinner! We had a wonderful day!

Tomorrow probably won't be so great... she will be getting her 6 month shots...

BIG girl Bath and a BIG Thank You!!

Here is Aubrie in the big girl bathtub with daddy! She loved splashing around and having all the space to do whatever she wanted to!! Thanks for being the daring one to bathe her in there A!

Also, thank you for a wonderful day yesterday Aaron! 

For some reason when my husband told me that he DID have school on Martin Luther King Jr. Day I BELIEVED him.  So yesterday I woke up to breakfast in bed... and then he scheduled me a massage at Massage Envy which was fabulous!! He bathed Aubrie and got her all ready for the day! When I got home we enjoyed lunch at Red Robin and then spent the day together as a family! It was such a treat! Even though you lied to me it was totally worth it. Haha. Thanks for being my dreamboy! I love you!

I have a cute video of Aubrie sitting up and a cute one of her in the bathtub, but for some reason Blogger hasn''t been letting me upload my videos lately!?!! Is anyone else having this problem??

Scrabble

Saturday night Aaron and I had planned on going bowling with Candice, Colby, Ashley and Brad, but unfortunately we had a sad/cranky little baby who was having tummy pains and we dared not leave her with anyone because we figured she would be even more sad if we left her so instead at like 10:30pm we decided to head to Walmart to buy a board game!  We got Scrabble and decided that we are going to become Scrabble experts... no not really... but we had fun playing late into the night!! If you notice the score paper... you will see the winner... not to brag or anything... but I can't believe it!!!!! Haha! I only really won b/c Aaron helped me get a word that was worth like 40 points.  We would have just about tied if it weren't for that! Oh and if you see any words in this puzzle that you think aren't Scrabble approved, don't worry we used our handy dictionary and they are real words!! We think!  We had a lot of fun and just as a sidenote, Aubrie is doing a lot better.

We set her up in front of the TV to distract her from the possibility of yucky tasting peas, but she loved them! They are food... so of course she loved them! :)

Organic Carrots

We fed Aubs real people food (kind of!) for the first time tonight!

She ate Gerber's version of Organic Carrots and she LOVED them!

I must say, they were pretty tasty! 

Oh and yes that is our Christmas tree in the background... I would leave it up all year if I could... it will be coming down soon though! 

... and YES our little chunkers did finish off the whole container!

...besides of course all of the carrots that ended up on her face and her bib!
