30 is just around the corner... JJ!!

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!!
This past two weeks has been so crazy but we did get a chance to celebrate my sweetie turning 27! His birthday was April 10th so sorry for the late post!
On his birthday I tried to make a breakfast for him but since he had to leave so early he just
got to have a yogurt drink and a chocolate chocolate chip muffin and some milk before he left.  I did make sure to put a candle in the muffin and sing to him before he left for school!! I don't have pictures b/c it was all in such a hurry... but on Friday night we were able to celebrate with some of his buddies from school and their families! We just did pizza and ice cream cake... and the cake was seriously so yummy... if you haven't tried Baskin Robbins Oreo Ice Cream cake, I highly recommend it!
I feel beyond blessed to be married to my best friend.  He is such an example to me and continues to make me want to be a better person.  He always knows how to make me laugh and cheer me up if I feel down... and most importantly he is here for me whenever I need him (and even when I don't!!) no matter what! He is such a busy guy, doing handiwork around the house, or schoolwork or studying for finals and always making sure to spend time with both of our families and yet I still always feel like I am his number one.  I am so impressed by the man that he is.  Lucky me!! :)This is a pic of the Bobby Jones Hybrid that I got him, but I left the sock thing on it cause I liked the big pom pom thing on the end... Aaron would totally make fun of me right now...

What a week!

This past two weeks and especially this past weekend has been filled with indescribable emotion.
As I am sure most of you know by now, TC passed away on Sunday night around 7:30pm. Words cannot describe the hole that I feel for the loss of the man who played such a significant role in my life.  I had the wonderful opportunity of sitting with his incredible family last night and being able to share stories and pictures and details of his last moments here on this earth.  TC was truly an incredible person and taught so many people so much about life and love for mankind.  He was a missionary and friend to so many people.  I know that his death came as a surprise to all who knew him, but I also know that it is a part of the plan that Heavenly Father has for him.   He has a mission to serve elsewhere and has completed his work here on this earth.  His parents spoke of his peaceful exit from this life and described it as "beautiful."  They are so strong and such an example to me.  There are some great stories about his life on tcstories.wordpress.com if you haven't checked them out already!! I will be forever grateful for the time that I was able to spend in this life with him,  and that I was able to learn and grow with him. Teece... you will be missed bud!

My first accident.

So as if we weren't busy enough with trying to get ready for baby to come, Aaron's final's, my job, preparing to apply for schools for Aaron, and I could probably go on and on... we got in a car accident on Saturday night...  and now we are on the hunt for a car.  So here is how it all went down...
We were driving home and it was like 9:50 pm and we decided that we needed to get some Chipotle for dinner since we hadn't  eaten in a while.  So we are completely stopped at a red arrow behind this big red Nissan truck. When the arrow turned green naturally we started to drive through the light when suddenly the red truck slams his brakes on before even getting out of the intersection.  Why, you ask?!! Because his 4 year old son who was not in a child safety seat nor in a seatbelt decided that he would open the front passenger door while the man was driving so he slammed his brakes on to reach over and grab his child and bammm... we went right into the back of him.  Lucky for him there was no damage whatsoever to his truck since it was so tall and since we were only driving like 5 miles an hour... but sadly for us... I pretty much totalled Aaron's car.  I even braked... but the antilock braking skid just a little too far and we were done for.  Everybody was okay... we seriously barely hit them i guess, cause everyone was just fine... but I was a little shaken up... having a 6 1/2 month old baby growing inside of me and not knowing if she was injured! The paramedics were right there since they had been eating at Chipotle and quickly checked for the baby's heartbeat and my blood pressure and said everything looked fine... so I didn't go to the hospital.  When the police officer showed up, the man we hit decided that since he was a paramedic that he would tell the officer what happened and that things would be totally cool... so as he explained that he slowed down to brake and then reached over to grab his child and then we rear ended him... you could tell the cop didn't believe him.  He asked the little boy what happened and he yelled out, "I opened the door!"  The officer said, "Don't you love kids honesty?!" and preceded to ask the boy how old he was to which the boy replied "four" and then the officer pretty much scolded the driver because the child was too young and small to not be in a carseat! It was pretty sweet.  Nevada law states that if you hit a car from behind it is your fault no matter what, but the police officer knew this had not been our fault, so we didn't get a ticket! We seriously feel so blessed! Now since Aaron only had liability insurance... we need to buy a new car cause we are not gonna spend thousands to fix up the other one. I still feel blessed... nobody was hurt... the other car wasn't damaged at all... the 4 year old will hopefully be in a carseat from now on... and the babygirl in my belly is just fine! Life is good.

Oh yeah and then I went to the hospital yesterday just to get checked out since I had lower abdomen pain after the accident on Saturday night... and I found out that I have Uterine Irritability... which i guess is a precursor to contractions, which could cause preterm labor, so I had to get an IV in my arm and a shot in my other arm and had to be monitored for a few hours yesterday at Valley hospital.  They said it could have been a result of the accident or simply doing too much or being dehydrated... so I am thinking it was probably a combination of things!! Everything was fine though... and it was pretty sweet since I got to hear my little baby girls heart beating for so long...
In my short stay at the hospital... I even had a couple visitors... thanks Aaron and Noelle... love you guys! I wish I had pictures!

TC's Accident

Hi! Okay so I am so sorry that It has been forever since I last posted.  We finally moved into our new home and it has been super busy getting all moved in, even though we still have loads to unpack.  I will post pictures, but more importantly I need to tell you all about the horrible news I received this week.
This week has been a huge blur to me because I found out that TC was in a longboarding
accident on Monday afternoon and fractured his skull badly.  He was rushed into surgery and has been in a coma since then.   Anyways... he is in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at UMC where he is being taken care of tremendously well by a loving and caring staff and of course his family who practically haven't left his bedside since the ordeal happened.  I do not want to butcher any of the info about what is actually going on with him, so go check out this blog that his brother Allan set up for him.  This one is his progress and details about what is going on with him and this one has stories that people have been submitting about TC.  If you have any memorable or funny stories that you want to share you should go check out the site and email his brother. It has been uplifting to hear peoples stories about how strong, funny, and what an awesome guy TC is.  I found this all out late monday night and basically haven't been able to sleep or think clearly all week. It is the most helpless feeling knowing that there is not much I can do besides PRAY right now, so that is what I am going to do.  Please pray for him and his
family as well.  I know he can make it through this.
