The Dallas Arboretum has the most wonderful little setup on Monday and Tuesday mornings. A local farmer brings out some of his animals and they put on the sweetest little petting zoo for the kiddos. Our good friend who has a pass to the Arboretum is generous enough to let us come with her so Aubs can play with the animals, her best buddies (her favorite part of course!) and face painting!
They always have a bucket of brushes so you can brush the animals fur. Aubs goes straight for the brush bucket as soon as she walks in. She is very timid around the animals though... so I always try to help her pet them... she is usually done after just a minute or two and just wants to watch...
Then it's off to face painting...
She calls it her makeup or face paint... and just loves looking at herself in the mirror after she gets it!
Aubrie and her cute friends playing in one of the mini playhouses setup around the arboretum. Aubs loves having cute boys to play house with! Ha! :)
We love Mondays at the Arboretum and will be sad when the petting zoo says goodbye for the season!
